Phuket

Phuket is a city in southern Thailand. It is located on the Malay Peninsula and is the administrative center for the entire province of Phuket. If you’re traveling to this place, it’s worth checking out what you need to see!

Krabi Town

We’ll start off in an unusual way. Taking advantage of the transfers fromPhuket airport to Krabi Town, it is well worth a trip there. Although trips to this place are very popular, the town life is not dominated by tourists. There are as many people in it as there are places in the hotels. Therefore, Krabi is a great place for a day trip before exploring Phuket.

The city of Krabi is more than just a seaside town. There are several interesting places to visit, including the weekend night market and the 19th century temple of Wat Kaew Korawaram. The Pak Nam Kraburi River runs through the town. There is also a crab statue in the town.

Phuket Old Town

The old town of Phuket in Thailand shows the true face of this paradise island from the times when it was not as crowded with tourists as it is today. Here you will find charming streets with beautiful mansions and old houses lined with narrow stores and cozy restaurants, all living at a different pace but united by a timeless beauty – time passes more slowly here! In this historical part there are also temples, both Buddhist and Chinese. Here you can feel the exact atmosphere of the city!

Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong is a sacred Buddhist site that has been beautifully and intricately decorated to please the eyes of tourists. You can also get a glimpse of Thai culture here! There is no entrance fee, but you need to spend at least three hours at this place – to see the whole thing in peace. It is worth mentioning that tourists cannot enter every part of this Buddhist temple.

The Great Buddha Monument

The huge marble statue of Buddha, measuring 45 meters, has already become a symbol of the island. The original plan was to build an entire temple complex on top, which would have been the largest in Thailand, and perhaps even in all Buddhist lands! Many locals come to this spot to meditate. It is an amazing viewpoint, it is worth going to this place at sunset for example. The view of the monumental monument makes a huge impression, not only on tourists.

Phi Phi Island

The picturesque Phi Phi Leh island can be reached by renting a boat. During the cruise we have a chance to see beautiful caves and golden beaches.
